Snowball Fun Rally
History

Snowball RallyTM is an almost annual event which takes place in March or April. The event consists of on road and off road driving in which teams must follow a predetermined route. The route is laid out in a route book with distances and directions given in "tulip" form. Along the route, teams must answer questions based on observances along the way. (i.e. Who lives at 1434 Main Street?)

The rally is not timed however in the past, the organizers have thrown in a "timed" section where points are given to the team that finishes the section closest to "ideal time". Ideal time is calculated based on the distance x the posted or given speed limit. Teams are comprised of a driver and navigator only. No other passengers are allowed as this may give an unfair advantage.

The rally typically begins at noon with registration and tech inspection taking place that morning. The length of the rally is usually 4-5 hours with an awards presentation in the evening. The rally is designed for both stock and modified vehicles and is fun for both beginner and experts alike.
